Hercules Man is committed to supporting one of the most precious resources we have on our planet—our forests.
Each fragrance you purchase equals 3 trees that will be planted by the National Forest Foundation's Trees for U.S. program. This program helps restore National Forests damaged by wildfire, disease, insects, and other adverse events. Trees will be planted in areas of the greatest need as determined by the U.S. Forest Service.
Why do forests matter?
Forests filter air pollution. Trees trap pollution particles on their leaves and bark. In one year, a mature tree can absorb 10 pounds of air pollutants.
Forests offset climate change. An acre of healthy mature trees can store 6 tons of carbon dioxide and release 4 tons of oxygen.
Forests provide clean water. The National Forest System is the largest single source of water in the continental U.S. and provides reliable water supplies for more than one-third of the U.S. population.
Forests provide a habitat for wildlife. Forests provide homes, shelter, and food for many species of animals. The National Forest System sustains more than 10,000 species of plants and 3,000 species of fish and wildlife.
